New Additions

We are so excitted to be adding some new animals to our farm!
Babydoll Southdown Sheep!
This is Bernice LaFleece  and she looks so happy.

This is Dolly Madison (her mother's name is Cupcake)
She look like a gentle old soul

This handsome guy is Sir Lambsalot
He is going to be so fun for our grandson Jackson to take care of.
He will be going  with us to pick them up but he doesn't know yet one is for him!

Babydoll Southdown produce a medium fine wool that we are planning to add to our alpaca fiber. Should be soooo soft.

These sheep are known for not challenging fencing and being easy on their environments. Babydolls are often used in orchards and vineyards for mowing grass and cleaning up fallen fruit without damaging trees and plants. These small sheep require less space than their larger counterparts. Their gentle attitudes also makes them great companion animals for families wanting a more docile breed of livestock.
We can't wait to bring home these sweet animals.

Stitching Up Instead of Baking Up

This is one of my favorite Patterns that I did.
It's a fun one to do as a gift with an apple pie or
better yet, a gift basket with everything so your
Friend can make a pie!

This one makes my heart smile!
If you want to make one to you can get the pattern at:

Vintage is the Best

I am working on my kitchen and I think this will be perfect for the pantry door. I brought it home today. A good sanding, a coat of paint and a vintage door knob and it will be ready to hang.

I think a lace curtain and some kind of French Bakery vinyl and it will be perfect!

You'll have to stop by again and see how it turns out!

Trying a New Pattern

I love trying new patterns!
And Jenny from Missouri Star Quilt Company always has the best ideas.

This is her Spiderweb Quilt with the wacky template.

I loved making this one.

You can see how to do it on her YouTube channel.
Or just search Spiderweb Quilt using Wacky Template.
I will suggest after making each block to pull the paper off then. I waited until I had it all sewn together and it took forever!
Even Norris loves this quilt!

Off to quilt it now!

Silhouette Fun!

This was the door in my sewing room in Salt lake....
I love this saying and now that my kids gave me a silhouette cameo for Christmas I can do this to my door in Washington!
I loved my sewing room in SLC and it was hard to leave it. But my husband made me one here that I love just as much. He is also working on a studio for me so I have more room and I can't wait!!!
I am sure the silhouette will be getting lots of use out there.
