Silhouette Fun!

This was the door in my sewing room in Salt lake....
I love this saying and now that my kids gave me a silhouette cameo for Christmas I can do this to my door in Washington!
I loved my sewing room in SLC and it was hard to leave it. But my husband made me one here that I love just as much. He is also working on a studio for me so I have more room and I can't wait!!!
I am sure the silhouette will be getting lots of use out there.
This is my sewing room now....
This was when we were first setting it up.....
I wish it was still that
my quilt machine fits but its a tight
can't wait for the studio....
I love my ironing board!

I love Hollyhocks!

I love Hollyhocks and I plant them every year and the deer keep eating them...
or maybe its the chickens....
I took this picture a few years ago as my inspiration picture and it just makes me want to grow them more....

Comforts of Home

I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have my design wall covered with all the squares I have done so far.

Doesn't it make you just want to slip off your shoes

and climb into that chair.

This is one of my favs....

Opps I say that after I finish each one.

This quilt had been so fun to work on.

Who doesn't love sitting by a warm fire.

Saying that are so true are the best!

I have the best stitching husband ever!!!

Making this quilt and having my husband stitch it has been
The most fun.
Keep looking there are so many more.....

See best stitching ever!!!!

These blocks are so fun to do.

I can't wait to get this one finished.

I have been working on finishing up UFO's and I am so glad I am.
I love this quilt I am working on, its called Comforts of Home by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet.
Its an applique quilt and it has been so fun to work on.

When I do these quilts I really enjoy them because my husband is my stitcher and so we work on them together! It is so fun to see them once he adds the stitch work.

These are just a few of the squares  you can see all of the ones I have done
on my instagram account.

Every time we finish one I tell Kelly "That s my favorite one".

But I think when I am done it WILL be my favorite quilt ....
until I start the next one.

Lori has so many fun applique quilts it is hard to decide which is my favorite.

I loved playing this game as a kid so stitching it made me think of all the fun times I had with friends and family.
I can't wait to finish this one!
